You will need about 3.5 metres of background fabric and you could use just one or a couple fabrics for the blocks and a third for the sashing. For the stars you will need a total of 3.5 metres so the equivalent of 14 fat quarters. And 1 metre for the inner border and the binding. But you can always make a smaller quilt!
