Our retreat was a great success last weekend. 40 quilters together sewing and sharing ideas. Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake was a perfect location. The sewing room was full with all of us and all our projects. Lots of room to spread out on and under the big tables. The cabins were nice and warm, although no one was in them much except to sleep. I think we were mostly pleasantly surprised by the beds even!
When we first drove in, we saw these lovely swans in the sunshine! Patti had posters of our activities up.
Our committee, Donna, Patti, Jill, Vicki, Terry and Stephanie had assembled awesome goodie bags and a great Tombola!
Before dinner, Vicki treated us to a wine tasting and food pairing, explaining how the simple foods effected the wine perception.
Our sewing room was huge and we each had our own sewing table!
.
We had mini-lessons everyday. Jan G showed us how to make sun-hats for the Camp Trillium summer campers and Stephanie demonstrated several things on the iPad using our new projector!
Here is a slide show of one project from most of the campers. Many completed a number of things.
If you have any more photos to share, please send them to Stephanie or Jill.
