Laura Coia is the headliner for our Monday, November 9th meeting. Laura is a freelance educator, a Pattern Designer, and the founder of “Sew Very Easy” which is a very active educational and entertaining YouTube Channel. Her videos are uploaded each Tuesday and Thursday at 2:00 and are free to subscribe too. She has over 338,000 subscribers with over 36,000,000 views.
Along with her free videos she shares many tips, techniques, and new ideas for the novice as well as the experienced. Her videos are easy to follow, allowing you to get the project done.
She is a registered professional, with over 45 years of sewing experience as a tailor, seamstress, teacher, and a designer. 26 of those years have been quilting, with over 300 completed quilts.
She has been published in Quilters Connection Magazine as well as Canadian Quilter magazine. She has been awarded the Canadian Zoomer award and has a new booked published called Sew Very Easy Quilt Favorites.

The “doors open” at 6:30 so you can get connected to Zoom and the meeting will start at 7pm. You will receive an email from Monica on the weekend with the Zoom link. Everyone seemed happy with the breakout rooms we used at the break at our last meeting and we are going to try the breakout rooms again before the meeting starts. Fingers crossed, it will work.
