
COLOURWAYS Create a beautiful fibre art piece to mount on canvas or wood panel. Dive into those favourite batiks that you tuck away into your stash and never cut up! This class gets you pulling out all of your treasures and playing with colour. Watch the colours weave in and out with gorgeous simplicity adding fiber, embellishments and multiple stitches along the way. Students finish this one day workshop with an art piece complete and ready to hang on the wall.
Brandy Maslowski is a quilter and fibre artist who loves humans, hiking, travel and tea. She is a quilt teacher, speaker, judge and the author of children’s picture book Kristy’s Quilt. She has been a light-hearted stitcher for 30 years. From clumsy beginner quilter all the way to showing her fibre art in galleries, Brandy has a passion for fabric, stitch, colour, texture and everything quilting. This 6 hour workshop runs on Zoom on Saturday, February 27th from 10am-4:30pm with a lunch break. It is $45 (includes HST). 20 students maximum.
